Everton eye Jordi Cruyff as director of football if move for Leicester transfer king fails
EVERTON will reportedly turn to Jordi Cruyff if they fail to lure Leicester transfer guru Steve Walsh to Goodison Park.
Jordi Cruyff is the son of late Dutch football legend Johan Cruyff
The Toffees, who appointed Ronald Koeman as Roberto Martinez’s successor last month, want to install a director of football above the Dutchman.
Everton were initially linked with a move for Sevilla supremo Monchi.
The 42-year-old is currently operating as director of football at Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv, and has previous experience with Cypriot outfit AEK Larnaca.
It is thought he may be tempted by a return to England, having spent four years in the Premier League as a player with Manchester United.
