N’Golo Kante to Chelsea: Leicester considering £29m bid, Blues hopeful of deal by weekend
CHELSEA are reportedly hopeful of pushing through a deal for Leicester star N’Golo Kante by the weekend after making a £29million bid for the midfielder.
Chelsea want the Kante deal done so he can fly with the squad on their pre-season tour of the US.
The report says Leicester were considering the fee at their training camp in Austria last night but still want Kante to remain with them.
Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri was able to convince Jamie Vardy to snub a move to Arsenal and it is claimed they will offer Kante an improved contract which would make him the highest-paid player at the King Power on £100,000 a week, in an attempt to keep him.
