Inter Milan prepare transfer swoop for Chelsea midfielder
INTER MILAN are lining up a move for wantaway Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel, according to reports.
Inter Milan are reportedly keen to snap up Chelsea's John Obi Mikel on the cheap
Mikel enjoyed a solid season with the Blues last term following the arrival of interim boss Guus Hiddink in January.
The Dutchman branded the midfielder 'ideal' and reinstated him in the first-team, making 33 appearances in all competitions.
"Mikel did enquire about Besiktas and there were talks but it all depends on what their board decide to do," Izzet said.
"Money is of course important but Mikel wants first-team football if he is to move.“
