Mark Warburton agrees Rangers contract extension and confirms David Weir deal
MARK WARBURTON says assistant David Weir will remain with him at Rangers after the manager revealed he has agreed to extend his contract until 2019.

Warburton and Weir joined foreces at the Ibrox club last year.
"I'm all agreed with the club," Warburton said. "David and myself will sign another year to our contracts."
Warburton is credited with masterminding Rangers' return to the Scottish Premiership after four years outside the top flight.

"All the speculation was due to a 12-day holiday. It was no more than that.
"'Why have you not signed?' Because I was away with the wife for 12 days.
"It's a privilege for me to be here in this position - and for David with his status at the club.
"It's a great place to be and we have extended for another year until 2019."
Rangers kick off their new season with a trip to Motherwell in the revamped Scottish League Cup on July 16.
Their first Premiership fixture is at home to Hamilton on August 6.
