Fenerbahce deliver Robin van Persie update: West Ham and Crystal Palace keen on deal
ROBIN VAN PERSIE looks like he will be staying at Fenerbahce, according to reports.
Fenerbahce boss Vitor Pereira insists Robin van Persie is not for sale
The 32-year-old enjoyed a fruitful campaign last season, scoring 16 goals for the Turkish Super Lig side.
However, he has failed to settle in Istanbul since leaving Manchester United after three years last summer.
It is said that the Dutchman's family have also struggled to find their feet in Turkey and he is apparently pushing for a return to the Premier League.
This desire to return to England has put Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough and West Ham on alert - with the trio all being credited with interest.
All three sides are keen to bolster their attacking ranks ahead of the new season and reportedly consider Van Persie a viable option.
Robin Van Persie - Spotlight On
Van Persie has an impressive goalscoring record in the English top flight, scoring 144 goals in 280 appearances across his spells at Arsenal and United.
But Turkish newspaper Milliyet claim Fenerbahce boss Vitor Pereira does not want to sell Van Persie.
This is because the Turkish giants don't want to lose another marquee signing after Nani left the club for Valencia in a £7million three-year deal on Tuesday.
