Young striker signs new Manchester United contract
MANCHESTER UNITED youngster Demetri Mitchell has apparently signed a new contract with the club.
Demetri Mitchell appears to have signed a new Man United contract
The 19-year-old was out of contract this summer along with players including Michael Carrick and Joe Riley.
But Manchester Evening News claim he has signed a new contract after he confirmed he would return for pre-season training on Friday.
Mitchell wrote on Twitter: "Been hibernating over summer. Back in for pre season tomorrow 2016/17 let's go."
The teenager’s last two years with the Red Devils have been blighted by injury, and he made just three starts for United’s Under-21s last season.

However the striker, who won the Under-17 European Championship with England in 2014, could now see more game time in Warren Joyce's Under-21s next season.
Riley was offered a new deal earlier this month, while Carrick has also extended his stay at Old Trafford.
