Jurgen Klopp's a d***head: Liverpool ace apologises for Instagram post
MARTIN SKRTEL has apologised for calling Jurgen Klopp a "d**khead" on Instagram.
Martin Skrtel looks set to leave Liverpool this summer
The Slovakian took to Instagram to apologise for bad-mouthing his boss, but insists it wasn't him that posted the message.
A picture of Skrtel alongside his friend was posted with several different hashtags - the final one reportedly translating to "Klopp is a d***head."
Skrtel then replied to the picture with: "Last comment is top," before a friend replied: "Hope Jurgen won't see it."
The defender then commented: "Hope he does."
But Skrtel, who has been heavily linked with a move to Fenerbahce in recent days, has now apologised for any offence caused and claims it wasn't him that posted the comments.
He said: “I am truly very sorry for the situation and for what was written under my name.
“These days, when I am very busy I have asked my close friend to help me manage my social media profiles.
“He got carried away and he did not realise how serious the comments may appear. I would like to stress that the opinion he expressed is not my opinion.”
Skrtel looks set for a move to Fenerbahce after the club's president confirmed a deal was close to being finalised.
Aziz Yildirim told AMK Spor: "Van der Wiel and Slovak Skrtel transfers are almost done.”
