Arsenal eyeing West Ham defender if Hector Bellerin leaves for Barcelona
ARSENAL are reportedly interested in a move for West Ham defender Sam Byram.
Sam Byram has been linked with a move to Arsenal
The 22-year old only joined the Hammers in January from Championship side Leeds.
But according to Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, Arsenal are now interested in a move for the right-back.
The report claims Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will target Byram if Barcelona succeed in signing Hector Bellerin.
The Spanish full-back has impressed at Arsenal since breaking into the first-team, and was rewarded for his fine form with a call-up to Vicente del Bosque’s Spain squad for Euro 2016.
Arsenal's Most Expensive Transfers
But Barca have identified the 21-year-old La Masia graduate as the ideal replacement for Dani Alves.
Alves completed his move to Juventus yesterday, signing a two-year deal with the Italian champions.
