Arsenal Transfer U-turn: Loanee set to return to Emirates and be handed new contract
WOJCIECH SZCZESNY is set to be handed a new Arsenal contract this summer after negotiations with Roma have reportedly broken down.
Wojciech Szczesny is currently with Poland at Euro 2016
Szczesny spent last season on loan with the Italian club and was expected to return on a temporary or permanent basis again for the 2016/17 campaign.
"We’re trying to keep hold of Wojciech Szczesny, even if there isn’t a goalkeeping problem, considering we’ve signed Alisson," Roma boss Luciano Spalletti said last week.
