Miralem Pjanic is close to joining Juventus
Juve director Beppe Marotta has confirmed the 26-year-old will soon sign for the Serie A champions.
The club have activated his £30million release clause and Pjanic is said to have forced through the deal with a letter to Roma.
And the agent revealed Chelsea had been one of a number of clubs who were keen to sign the Bosnia and Herzegovina international.
"Juventus have activated the €38m clause and we expect to finalise the transfer very soon,” Junuzovic told Bosnian website N1.
"There were a lot of clubs interested in him, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Barcelona… Juventus were the fastest and most concrete."
