Spartak Moscow have renewed their interest in Chelsea striker Loic Remy
The 29-year-old struggled for starts at Stamford Bridge last season, making just 13 appearances and scoring once in the Premier League.
His lack of game time saw him miss out on a place in Didier Deschamps’ France squad for Euro 2016 and it is claimed he wants to leave Chelsea in search of regular first-team football.
Express Sport understands incoming boss Antonio Conte will be handed a £150million transfer kitty by owner Roman Abramovich, so it looks likely that Remy will be surplus to requirements come the start of the 2016/17 season.
However, Russian outlet Sports.ru claim Spartak are willing to offer Remy a route out of Chelsea at the second attempt.
It is claimed the Blues want around £7m for Remy, who still has two years remaining on his contract after signing for the Blues for £10.5m from Queens Park Rangers in 2014.
