Confirmed: Manchester United release midfielder and goalkeeper
MANCHESTER UNITED have confirmed they have released Nick Powell and Victor Valdes.
Victor Valdes and Nick Powell have both apparently been released by Man United
This the pair will now leave Old Trafford on free transfers.
Powell and Valdes were out of contract this summer and have not be offered new deals.

Valdes moved from Barcelona to Old Trafford in 2015, but made just two appearances for the Red Devils.
The World Cup winner did not feature this season after being frozen out by Louis van Gaal following a pre-season bust up, and was sent on loan to Standard Liege in January.

Powell joined United from Crewe for £6million in 2014 but only made nine first-team appearances in four years.
The 22-year-old spent the second half of the season on loan at Hull but made just two starts for the club.
