West Ham reject surprise loan bid: Chelsea and Man United must pay £19.5m for target
WEST HAM have reportedly rejected an initial loan approach from Roma for Angelo Ogbonna.
Angelo Ogbonna made 28 Premier League appearances for West Ham this season
The Hammers' centre-half only joined the club last summer and settled well in the Premier League.
After recovering from injury early on in the season, Ogbonna established himself as one of Slaven Bilic's key defenders.
The 28-year-old's solid form also earned him a spot in Antonio Conte's Italy squad for Euro 2016.
Conte will join Chelsea after the Euros and the new boss is said to be eyeing Ogbonna ahead of a potential summer swoop at Stamford Bridge, as is Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

Chelsea's interest comes following Ogbonna's comments back in March where he labelled Conte as the "best manager I've worked with".
Meanwhile, both United and Manchester City are said to have been scouting Ogbonna ahead of the summer transfer window.
United's capture of Eric Bailly from Villarreal may soften their interest though, while Pep Guardiola is still looking to strengthen his new defence at the Etihad.
