Manchester United told to pay £78million for star: Club ready to hand Jose Mourinho cash
MANCHESTER UNITED are ready to spend a record £78million on Paul Pogba, according to reports.
United are said to be ready to give Mourinho £78m to spend on Pogba
Pogba initially left United in 2012 to join Juventus when his contract in Manchester expired after making just seven appearances for the club.
Then-manager Sir Alex Ferguson described the way the player handled the move as disrespectful and suggested he was happy to be rid of the Frenchman.
However, it now appears the club are desperate to bring Pogba back to Old Trafford.

However, he will have to ward off a number of other suitors with Barcelona and Real Madrid both said to be preferred options of the player himself.
United will also not be able to offer Champions League football for at least a season but they will be hoping that Mourinho's presence can prove enough of a factor to lure Pogba to Old Trafford.
