Liverpool are interested in a move for Marlos Moreno
The Colombia international has impressed in the Copa Libertadores this season.
His impressive form has reportedly caught the attention of a number of top European clubs including the Reds.
And Jurgen Klopp's side have now been handed a boost in their pursuit of Moreno as according to Portuguese outlet A Bola, Sporting Lisbon have pulled out of the race for his signature.
The report adds the Reds are continuing to monitor the 19-year-old along with Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, Benfica and Porto.
Moreno will be free to leave Atletico Nacional for £8million after the club's president, Juan Carlos de la Cuesta, revealed he would consider offers for the striker.

He told Maisefutbol: "We are attentive and if we get something interesting, let's look at it with the technical team.
“We expect developments in this dossier in the next days because the market is open, especially the European market.
"We are available to study everything, but we'd like to have him at least until the Copa Libertadores."
