West Ham submit £11.4m offer for injury-prone playmaker: Dimitri Payet determined to stay
WEST HAM have bid £11.4million for Juventus midfielder Roberto Pereyra in an early move from manager Slaven Bilic to bolster his squad ahead of the new season.
Juventus reportedly want £13m for Roberto Pereyra
That is according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, who claim the Hammers' interest in the playmaker is genuine.
West Ham hope they can convince Juve to sell up after Pereyra, 25, endured an injury-hit season in Turin after signing from Udinese last summer.
DImitri Payet - Spotlight on
Payet, 29, has been linked with a £30m move to Spain in recent days.
Pereyra could come in as a replacement for the Frenchman, but Payet insists he is going nowhere.
"I have had no contact with any other club," he said.
"I signed a long deal with West Ham - I should probably remain there next season."
