Man Utd transfer boost: Talks ongoing with £30m Chelsea target
MANCHESTER UNITED are in talks over a deal to sign Roma defender Kostas Manolas, according to reports.

Signing a centre half has been identified as a priority, with Everton’s John Stones top of Mourinho’s wishlist.
Recent reports suggested United will seek approval from Mourinho before making an move.
Chelsea have also been credited with a serious interest, with incoming Blues boss Antonio Conte an admirer.
Manolas would set back suitors £30.3m, as that is how much his release clause is worth.
But according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, United are making the most progress.

Meanwhile, United have been given a boost in their pursuit of Manolas’ team-mate Radja Nainggolan.
Although the Belgian admits he is happy staying in Serie A for the time being, if given the choice, he would be more open to joining United over Chelsea.
