Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford set for bumper new deal: Euro 2016 call-up likely
MARCUS RASHFORD is set for a double celebration this week - a place in England's Euro 2016 squad and a new contract with Manchester United.
Marcus Rashford made his England U20 and senior side debuts in 2016
Roy Hodgson is almost certain to include the 18-year-old striker in his final 23-strong party for France he will name on Tuesday.
And United will follow up by announcing Rashford has agreed a new £5.2m four-year contract which will see his wages leap from £1,500 a week to a basic £25,000 a week - with a hefty bonus of around £25,000 every time he plays - to ward off predatory clubs if he sparkles in the Euros.
"He made an impact on his debut and if he's given the opportunity [at the Euros] I'm sure he'll do very well - but that's up to the manager.
"He just needs to continue to work hard as I'm sure he will do and he'll be a very big player for both England and Manchester United."
