Manchester City star eyes Guardiola talks amid Euro giants interest
YAYA Toure is set to ask new Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola to let him stay at the club.
Yaya Toure has won two Premier League titles since joining Manchester City in 2010
The Ivory Coast star, who has one year left on his contract, is tipped to leave the Etihad when Guardiola replaces Manuel Pellegrini.
Toure, 33, played under Pep at Barcelona and they won the Champions League together in 2009.
But Guardiola sold him to City the following year for £24 million and it has been widely reported that the two don't see eye to eye
However, sources close to Toure stress that there is no ill-feeling between the two and the midfielder wants to work with Guardiola again.
Toure has rejected offers to join the Chinese Super League and is set to turn down a reunion with old Etihad boss Roberto Mancini at Inter Milan.
