JOSE MOURINHO is reportedly keen to strike a deal for Gonzalo Higuain.
Gonzalo Higuain is in demand
The Napoli striker has been continually linked with a move to the Premier League.
Manchester United have been on his tail, as they are desperate to add more firepower their attack.
Chelsea have also been coveting his signature, with incoming Blues boss Antonio Conte viewing the Argentine as a potential replacement for Diego Costa.
Mourinho is thought to be keen to bring Higuain to Old Trafford, even though Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will be a free agent in the summer, looks set to be his first signing.
Recent reports suggested Higuain wanted his release clause to be lowered from £73.7million to £47m in order to facilitate a move away from Italy.
And Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli claims the Portuguese is keen to secure a deal.
