Man United handed major transfer boost: Club set sights on Chelsea star
DAVID DE GEA will not leave Manchester United for Real Madrid in the summer, according to reports in Spain.
David De Gea is reportedly no longer a target for Real Madrid
De Gea came close to leaving United last summer but administrative errors meant the relevant paperwork was not submitted before the transfer deadline, ending his hopes of a return to Spain.
The goalkeeper then stunned fans by signing a new four-year deal with United in September, but talk of a move to the Bernabeu has continued to rumble on.
However, the report adds Madrid could simply stick with Costa Rica international Keylor Navas for one more season following his impressive performances this term.
The 29-year-old has been in fine form, keeping 21 clean sheets in all competitions.
