Marcus Rashford - 5 things you need to know
Manchester United have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos.
That is according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, who claim the 21-year-old will ask to leave the Ligue 1 side in a scheduled meeting with the club's board members, which will take place after their French Cup final on May 21.
United are understood to be keen on signing the Brazilian as they look to bolster their defensive ranks ahead of next season.
However, they will face competition from Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona for his signature.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford is closing in on signing a new lucrative deal at Old Trafford.
The 18-year-old has been in sensational form for the Red Devils since bursting into the scene in February.
And the Daily Mail claim Rashford will be rewarded for his efforts by offering him a stunning new deal that will see him earn £25,000 a week.
He currently takes home around £1,500 a week.
Finally, Manchester United have entered the race to sign West Ham prodigy Reece Oxford.
The Sun report United sent scouts to watch the 18-year-old in action for West Ham's Under-21 side as they beat Hull to win the U21 Premier League Cup final on Wednesday.
It is also understood United are now in pole position to sign Oxford with a move for team-mate Martin Samuelsen also in the works to try and sweeten the deal.
However, the Hammers are determined to keep hold of Oxford as they look to fend off interest from other potential suitors including Arsenal and Manchester City for the £10m-rated defender.
