Swansea boss Guidolin hands Wales Euro 2016 boost: Williams and Taylor to be rested
WALES have been handed a pre-Euro 2016 boost after Francesco Guidolin confirmed he will leave Ashley Williams and Neil Taylor out of Swansea's remaining Premier League fixtures.
Ashley Williams has featured in all 36 of Swansea's Premier League fixtures this season
The defensive duo have been regulars for the club this season, with Williams playing every minute of every Premier League fixture.
But with Premier League survival secure, head coach Guidolin will take no further risks with their fitness, or that of Iceland midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, in order to ensure they are in tip-top shape for the finals in France.
And Gareth Bale will miss Wales' pre-Euro 2016 training camp in Portugal after guiding Real Madrid to the Champions League final on May 28.
Wales will begin work on Monday, May 23 and remain in Portugal for seven days.
