Juventus chief deals big Arsenal blow: Striker has two stronger options
JUVENTUS chief Guiseppe Moratta has dealt a huge blow to Arsenal in the hunt for Spanish striker Alvaro Morata.
Alvaro Morata has scored seven goals in 33 Serie A appearances this season
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger was thought to be chasing the hitman as he seeks to upgrade his attacking options ahead of a renewed Premier League title bid next season.
But Moratta says the former Real Madrid youngster is keen to stay with the Serie A giants, who sealed their fifth consecutive Scudetto last week.
"His intention is to stay here but Real could have the means to change his mind."
Real inserted a £20million buy-back option into the deal which saw Morata leave them for Juventus in 2014.
But it is thought Maxi Allegri is prepared to stump up a further £15m to keep the Spain international on a permanent basis.
