Tottenham eye move for West Brom striker to bolster Premier League title-chasing squad
TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR will make another attempt to sign West Brom striker Saido Berahino this summer.
Saido Berahino has scored 23 goals in 96 Premier League appearances for the Baggies
Berahino, 22, is set to play at White Hart Lane on Monday night for the first time since Tottenham had four bids rejected last summer.
The England U-21 man is out of contract at the end of next season but Baggies boss Tony Pulis wants him to stay.
"I am human and I make mistakes. I hold my hands up and I say it was a mistake from me.
"I just apologise to all the fans out there who have always supported me and also the club that has always believed in me."
He has scored just four goals in 29 Premier League games this season, putting paid to any hopes of a call-up to Roy Hodgson's Euro 2016 squad.
