Jose Mourinho to be given full transfer control after signing Manchester United contract
JOSE MOURINHO will not be told which players to buy at Manchester United, according to reports.
Woodward will reportedly not interfere in transfer matters if Mourinho takes over from Louis van Gaa
Portuguese newspaper Jornal de Noticias is today reporting that Mourinho has signed a deal to take over from Louis van Gaal at the end of the season.
Express Sport understands that the Portuguese boss has been increasingly confident that he will be appointed as United continue to remain outside the top four.
An increasingly likely fifth-place finish for the Red Devils would see them miss out on Champions League qualification, a financial blow Van Gaal is understood to be unable to survive.
But he will reportedly also sign players from the Portuguese league.
The two who are said to top his list are midfield prodigy Renato Sanches from Benfica and Braga's Rafa Silva both of whom have already been scouted by United.
