Man United await Jose Mourinho decision before completing deal for Premier League star
MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly waiting for Jose Mourinho to give the all clear before attempting to sign Leicester's Riyad Mahrez.
Riyad Mahrez is being linked with a move to Manchester United
Mahrez has been in fine form this season for the Foxes, boasting a record of 17 goals and 10 assists in 33 appearances.
And according to French magazine Le10 Sport, United are interested in signing the Algeria international but will hold off until Mourinho gives the go-ahead.
The report claims the Red Devils have already begun laying the ground work for a potential deal and will reach out to Leicester and Mahrez's agent once Mourinho okays the move.
The former Chelsea boss is understood to be close to agreeing a three-year deal with the Old Trafford club himself, taking over from Louis van Gaal in the summer.
