Man United transfer shock: Rival club ready to pay world-record fee to sign superstar
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have reserved £112million to pursue Cristiano Ronaldo this summer as they look to beat Manchester United to the Real Madrid star, according to reports.
PSG are reportedly willing to spend £112m on Cristiano Ronaldo
Ronaldo, 31, is thought to be considering an exit from the Bernabeu club at the end of the season.
Real themselves are reportedly open to a sale, knowing the forward will be 32 when it comes to renewing his current contract next season.
Express Sport understands both PSG and his former club United are said to be in the running for his signature.
It is claimed PSG are not worried about the impact a £112m outlay could have on their Financial Fair Play standing within UEFA.
And they believe Real will accept the astronomical offer.
Cristiano Ronaldo Homeless Prank
United have been repeatedly linked with a return swoop for Ronaldo since last summer and manager Louis van Gaal hinted back in December that a move may be possible.
Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is said to be preparing bids for a number of targets this summer even though Van Gaal may leave at the end of the season.
United would reportedly have to pay Portugal superstar Ronaldo at least £16.7m a season to bring him back to the club he left in 2009.
