Woodward asks around about Pochettino
Manchester United have reportedly sought expert advice over how to approach Tottenham in their pursuit of Mauricio Pochettino.
Argentine Pochettino is said to be second choice among the United board, with Jose Mourinho still their top target.
Mourinho, 53, is out of work after begin sacked by Chelsea in December and Express Sport understands he has rejected an offer to take over as Valencia manager.
The Sun claim United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has made enquiries to those close to Pochettino about how best to handle the situation.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is notorious for driving a hard bargain and is expected to offer Pochettino a new contract to stave off interest from rival clubs.
According to the report, FSG are in talks with a Middle Eastern company over a £650million sale of the Anfield club.
Were the deal to take place then Klopp would look to be reunited with his former Borussia Dortmund striker.
Poland and Bayern star Lewandowski is valued at £78m (€100m) and has scored 42 goals in 43 appearances for club and country this season.

Manchester City are reportedly willing to offer Lionel Messi whatever he wants to sign this summer.

And City hope they can snap up the Argentina superstar with an £800,000-a-week, five-year contract offer.
Were Messi to sign such a deal, he would earn £41.6m per season and an incredible £208m by 2021.
Even taking tax into account (the UK's top income tax band is currently 45 per cent) Messi would still take home £114.4m.
His current deal at Barca expires in 2018.
