Liverpool will reportedly meet Hoffenhiem's £14million release clause for striker Kevin Volland.
German publication Bild claim the Reds have been tracking the 23-year-old striker along with Stuttgart winger Filip Kostic.
And talkSPORT claim the Reds will go ahead and match the German international's £14m buy-out clause as Hoffenheim look to cash in with relegation looming.
The 25-year-old was once a West Ham youth player and hinted this month he was considering a return to the Premier League.
“I’d like to leave it to my new team to announce, which we’ve agreed with regards to the current situation," he said.
"I can say, however, that I’m going back to England."
