Manuel Lanzini: Why I made £9.4million transfer to West Ham
WEST HAM have completed the signing of Manuel Lanzini on a permanent deal thought to be worth around £9.4m.
Lanzini has been an important cog in Slaven Bilic's West Ham machine this season
Lanzini is currently on loan at Upton Park from Al Jazira Club in the UAE after arriving in London for a season-long spell last summer.
But the Argentinian has made a terrific impact for the Hammers with six goals in 22 games as they have risen to fifth in the Premier League.
Slaven Bilic's side are now just a point off Champions League qualification and will next season move to the Olympic Stadium.
Owner David Sullivan let slip in an interview earlier this week that the club had done a deal with Al Jazira for Lanzini but West Ham have today confirmed the transfer.
And the under-20 international, who started his career with River Plate in Argentina, has put pen to paper on a four-year contract with a two-year option which could keep him at the club until 2022.
