Wenger out? Club official lifts lid on Mancini's proposed move to Arsenal
ROBERTO MANCINI will not leave Inter Milan for Arsenal, vice-president Javier Zanetti has confirmed.
Roberto Mancini is reportedly committed to Inter Milan
Mancini emerged as a shock replacement for Arsene Wenger this week with Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claiming he is in the running to succeed the long-serving Frenchman.
Both managers are out of contract with their current clubs in 2017 and the report said Mancini was looking for a return to the Premier League after a four-year stint at Manchester City.
“We believe in third. The draw at Roma gave us a strong response and great confidence," Zanetti added.
"The lads have been doing well for the last month and even if we are five points off Roma, I say anything can happen.”
