Asmir Begovic says Chelsea career has not gone as planned
The 28-year-old goalkeeper left his number one role at Stoke in the summer to join the Premier League champions in an £8million deal.
He arrived at Stamford Bridge as back-up to Thibaut Courtois and has managed 20 appearances in all competitions after the Belgian was injured early on in the season.
"Certain things were put in place, conversations sounded good to me and I wanted to be part of a great club and help the team win trophies.”
And the Bosnia international added: “It hasn't gone as planned, but hopefully that will change and the future will look a bit brighter."
