Real Madrid board make shock transfer decision for Manchester United star
REAL MADRID's board members have confirmed David De Gea is no longer a summer transfer target, according to reports.
David De Gea is reportedly no longer a target for Real Madrid
De Gea came close to a move to the La Liga side last summer before clerical errors meant the deal collapsed on deadline day.
The Spain international then performed a shock U-turn by penning a new deal with Manchester United in September, keeping him at Old Trafford until 2019.
And the Spanish publication's claims tie in with Zinedine Zidane's comments earlier this month that he is not thinking about bringing in a new shotstopper and is happy with Navas.
"I can tell you I am very happy with the keepers I have, not just with Keylor [Navas] who is playing, but with Kiko Casilla and Ruben Yanez too. That is the most important for me," he said.
