Eden Hazard ruled out of Chelsea's West Ham clash as manager confirms lengthy injury
CHELSEA forward Eden Hazard faces up to a month on the sidelines, according to Belgium head coach Marc Wilmots.
Eden Hazard ruled out for three to four weeks
The 25-year-old declared himself fit to face Everton on Saturday after picking up a hip injury in the Champions League defeat against Paris Saint-Germain three days before.
But Blues manager Guud Hiddink refused to risk Hazard in the 2-0 defeat in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
And now Wilmots has revealed Hazard faces three to four weeks out of action, which will keep him out of Belgium's upcoming friendlies against Portugal and Switzerland.
"I have told Eden Hazard to have some rest," Wilmots said. "We are not too worried about. He has a muscle injury. He'll be out for 3-4 weeks."
