Liverpool player facing international exile (but things look good for Reds team-mate)
CHRISTIAN BENTEKE could be axed from Belgium's Euro 2016 squad due to his lack of form at Liverpool.

Benteke, 25, has scored just eight goals in his debut season at Anfield.
The striker cost Liverpool £32.5million when he forced through a move from Aston Villa last summer.
And he has not scored for Belgium since that transfer to Merseyside.
“Christian is going to have doubts now. We’ve all gone through that. I understand that and regret it.
"He missed the World Cup because of an injury, and missing the Euros would hurt.
“Now, he has to work. Christian has the time to prove that he can mean something to Liverpool.”
Benteke is competing with Reds team-mate Divock Origi and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku for a spot at Euro 2016, while Michy Batshuayi of Marseille has also impressed this season.
“I will choose depending on what they bring, and not on how well they played in the past few months,” said Wilmots.
“Batshuayi is a poacher. Benteke is better with his head and at linking up. Lukaku has pace and power. My choice will also depend on the wingers I take.”
