Manchester United made to sweat over striker injury with scan set for today
MANCHESTER UNITED may have to drop strike target Mauro Icardi from their summer shopping list after the striker suffered a knee injury at the weekend.

Inter Milan captain Icardi has been linked with a switch to United for some time.
It is claimed he could become Jose Mourinho's first signing of the summer if the Portuguese takes over as manager.
But there are concerns in Italy that a knee injury may rule him out for a number of fixtures, which could shed doubt on a move to United if he fails to adequately recover.
According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the 23-year-old has all-but been ruled out of Inter's trip to Serie A rivals Roma this Saturday.
He is set for an MRI scan today or tomorrow, with United likely to be keeping tabs on those results as much as Inter.

Icardi posted in instagram yesterday that the injury was not as bad as first feared.
"Monday or Tuesday we will do the investigations with a scan but nothing serious," he wrote.
"The important thing is that we won a game (against Bologna) that was not easy."
As for Mourinho, the former Chelsea boss is said to be still hopeful of returning to the Premier League as United boss this summer, should Louis van Gaal get the sack.
