Barcelona consider shock swoop for Chelsea striker
CHELSEA could make a swift profit on striker Alexandre Pato this summer, according to reports.
Barcelona have been linked with a surprise move for Alexandre Pato
The Blues can sign Brazil forward Pato for an agreed £9.2million if he impresses during his loan spell.
The former AC Milan frontman joined Chelsea from Corinthians back in January on an initial six-month loan.
Barca failed to sign Celta Vigo's Nolito in January and Pato has reportedly been targeted as a cheaper option this summer.
And Mundo Deportivo suggest Chelsea could buy Pato and then immediately sell him on to the Spanish giants for a healthy profit.
Website Sporting Witness claim a move to the Nou Camp is unlikely unless Pato shows some promise at Chelsea, which he is yet to do.
