Arsenal eye £20m Leicester star as alternative to Southampton's Victor Wanyama
ARSENAL may focus their transfer attention on N'Golo Kante instead of Victor Wanyama this summer, according to reports.
Arsenal are reportedly more likely to sign Kante (left) over Wanyama
The Gunners are understood to be seeking midfield recruits for the new campaign.
Manager Arsene Wenger has signed just one outfield player - Mohamed Elneny from Basel - in the last two transfer windows.
And The Daily Mail claim Wenger will push for Kante's arrival this summer after being impressed by the Leicester star.
Saints are expected to demand £20million for their star Kenya international, the same fee The Daily Mail claim Kante would cost.
They add that Wanyama is ready to leave St Mary's but that he is unlikely to turn up at the Emirates.
And Kante, it is reported, is a far more likely addition.
