Rio Ferdinand: This is why Arsenal have failed to win the Premier League
RIO FERDINAND has questioned Arsenal's desire to win the Premier League and wonders why they haven't brought any leaders to the club.
Rio Ferdinand criticised Arsenal after their 3-2 defeat at Manchester United
A youthful Manchester United, inspired by 18-year-old Marcus Rashford, beat the Gunners 3-2 at Old Trafford.
League leaders Leicester are now five points clear of Arsenal and Danny Rose's late winner for Tottenham against Swansea added to their misery, with Spurs now three points clear in second place.
Ferdinand played more than 400 games for United and enjoyed tremendous success, including a spell as club captain, in 12 years at Old Trafford.
"Arsenals major failure in recent years is not investing in LEADERS. People that grasp the moment, that set the right tone at the given moment," Ferdinand wrote on Twitter.
Do arsenal actually want to win this league....lowest standard for years...the time is now for the Gunners...

"Do arsenal actually want to win this league....lowest standard for years...the time is now for the Gunners" he added.
United are now three points behind Manchester City in fourth and they're still in two cup competitions - they play Liverpool in the Europa League and West Ham in the FA Cup in the next month.
