Chelsea suffer massive blow in £70m midfielder pursuit as Real Madrid deal revealed
ALVARO MORATA'S buy-back clause with Real Madrid could prove decisive in any deal to secure the signature of Paul Pogba, according to reports.
Morata could prove a crucial bargaining chip in the Paul Pogba deal
Pogba was named in the Uefa Team of the Year last month as he continues his rise to prominence.
The 22-year-old is now ranked as one of the world's top footballer after leading Juventus to the Champions League final last season.
His performances in the Serie A side's midfield have drawn interest from all over Europe with Chelsea this week said to be working on a £70million deal.
And Madrid are reportedly willing not to relinquish their buy-back clause on the player if the Italian club are willing to talk about Pogba's move to Spain.
It means Madrid will have a substantial advantage over Chelsea, Manchester City and Bayern Munich in the race for Pogba.
