Tottenham 3 - Fiorentina 0 (Agg 4-1): Mason and Lamela send Spurs to Europa League last 16
TOTTENHAM have beaten Fiorentina 4-1 on aggregate in their Europa League round-of-32 tie after a 3-0 win in the second leg at White Hart Lane.
Ryan Mason broke the deadlock at White Hart Lane
Ryan Mason opened the scoring on 25 minutes, the midfielder charged forwards to collect a Dele Alli pass before he opened up his body to slot the ball past goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu.
Spurs doubled their lead just after the hour mark, Nacer Chadli's initial shot was saved and Alli's rebound was blocked before the Argentine smashed the loose ball home.
And the hosts wrapped up the win with nine minutes to go after Fiorentina defender Gonzalo Rodriguez put the ball into his own net thanks to Kieran Trippier's cross into the corridor of uncertainty.
