According to Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias, Jose Mourinho has agreed a three-year deal to replace Louis van Gaal at Manchester United.
The former Chelsea boss will reportedly earn £15.75million a year, with an added bonus of £3.9m should he lead United to the Premier League title.
The Red Devils are thought to be waiting until the end of the season to sack Van Gaal as his £12.5m compensation fee will drop should they fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.
Meanwhile, Nick Powell has admitted that he has been a 'dumb little kid' since joining United in 2012, but hopes to prove his worth on loan at Hull.
“I am not a dumb little kid anymore like I used to be, who just did as I wanted,” he said. “I have realised you have got to play the game in a way, the football game.
“You cannot say certain things, you cannot do certain things, I feel like I have been perceived as a lost cause, and a maverick but I feel that is not the truth.

Louis van Gaal defends summer signing Memphis Depay
“I am here to prove football is what I want to do and that I am going to reach the heights that I was meant to reach. The last three years have been hard but this is a new challenge.”
And finally, Louis van Gaal has defended summer signing Memphis Depay after suggestions that the winger has struggled with the pace of the Premier League.
The Dutchman said: “He has to adapt, I agree. But that’s not only at pace but in different situations. And also to the culture of England and the Premier League as a person.”
