Arsenal star ruled out for three weeks with muscular injury
BORDEAUX have revealed Arsenal loanee Mathieu Debuchy is set for a spell on the sidelines with muscular injury.
Mathieu Debuchy ruled out for up to three weeks
The France international sustained the injury during the recent 0-0 draw with Nice and is expected to be out of action for up to three weeks.
"Tests have revealed a muscular injury. The France international will be unavailable for a period of between two and three weeks," read a Bordeaux statement.
The right-back joined the Ligue 1 club on deadline day on a six-month loan deal after losing his place in the Arsenal first-team to Hector Bellerin.
And Debuchy admits he needed first-team football elsewhere ahead of Euro 2016, but is now likely to sit out France's upcoming friendlies against the Netherlands and Russia.

"What I expect, for a start, is to enjoy myself again," he said. "Because it's true that I didn't really get too much enjoyment in these past few months of my life as a footballer.
"So the first thing is quite simply to rediscover the joy of getting on the pitch and to play with the ball, and then I need game time to go to the Euros."
