Tottenham set to beat Manchester United and Chelsea with deal for key man
TOTTENHAM are preparing to offer Mauricio Pochettino a bumper new contract, according to reports.
Pochettino is expected to be offered a new deal by Daniel Levy at the end of the season
Express Sport understands Manchester United are desperate to land Pochettino if they cannot sign Jose Mourinho.
Meanwhile Chelsea will be looking for a new manager this summer when Guus Hiddink steps down from his temporary role.
With Tottenham flying high sitting second in the Premier League, Roman Abramovich is said to be very interested in luring Pochettino across London.
But the overruling has not damaged relations between the two and Pochettino has been allowed to build a team of staff around him at the club.
The boss brought Paul Mitchell with him from Southampton to become head of recruitment and has recently promoted John McDermott to oversee every team outside of the first XI.
And if Pochettino does agree a new Tottenham contract he will hope Levy shows equal faith when it comes to the summer transfer market.
