Louis van Gaal explains tactics for Manchester United clash at Sunderland
LOUIS VAN GAAL says Manchester United are aiming to "play a positional game" against Sunderland today.
Louis van Gaal's Man Utd side face Sunderland this afternoon
Van Gaal made just one change to the XI that drew 1-1 with Chelsea last weekend.
Marouane Fellaini was replaced by Morgan Schneiderlin as the manager chose to rest his Belgian midfielder.
And, discussing the game with BT Sport before kick off, Van Gaal explained how he wants his team to play.
"This is the football style I want from my players but it is not easy to show that," Van Gaal said.
"When you are winning games and we are doing that in 2016 then you have confidence and you can show yourself.
"Sunderland are playing very direct and we have to cope with that.
"We are trying to play a positional game and score goals."
