The Italian defender scored with a thumping header in the last seconds of extra time at Upton Park to achieve a 2-1 victory over Jurgen Klopp’s battlers and secure a fifth-round tie for the Hammers at Blackburn Rovers.
“Angelo saved us the heartache of penalties, which nobody likes going through,” said Noble.
“That is an experience he won’t ever forget. You couldn’t write a script like that. It was an unbelievable goal to score.”
