Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd on alert amid midfielder’s contract disagreement
DIMITRI PAYET’S future at West Ham looks uncertain amid a contract war between his agent and the club.
Payet's representatives are reportedly demanding a salary of £125,000 a week for the Frenchman
The Frenchman has been in sensational form for the Hammers this season following his summer arrival from Marseille.
Payet joined on a five-year deal on a estimated salary of £65,000-a-week, with an extra £10,000 for every start.
But according to The Sun, Hammers chiefs are angry that the 28-year-old’s representatives are now demanding £125,000-a-week.
The report claims West Ham would have to fork out an extra £2.5million a season if they are to meet their demands, making him the club’s highest-paid player ahead of Andy Carroll.
