Angel Di Maria: I don't even want to remember Manchester United experience
ANGEL DI MARIA says he wants to forget he ever played for Manchester United in a stark assessment of his time spent at Old Trafford.
Angel Di Maria says he wants to forget his time at Old Trafford, having quit the club last summer
Di Maria, 27, became United's record transfer when he signed from Real Madrid for £59.7million back in the summer of 2014.
But the Argentina international failed to shine in Manchester.
He scored just four goals all season and quit the club last summer in a £44m switch to PSG.
"Manchester United was a sad experience.
"Things didn't go as I had hoped, I was disappointed and it didn't help me to rise to the surface.
"Honestly, I don't even remember anymore what happened and I don't want to remember.
"I'm happy to be here and that's the most important thing."
Di Maria boasts 12 goals in 28 appearances for PSG this season, three of which have come in the New Year.
The Ligue 1 champions host Chelsea in the first leg of their double header before a trip to London early next month.
