Mauricio Pochettino reveals Tottenham's main goal isn't to finish above Arsenal
TOTTENHAM'S main aim this season isn't to finish above Arsenal in the Premier League table, according to Mauricio Pochettino.
Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham are currently third in the Premier League table
Spurs haven't finished above their north London rivals since the 1994/95 season.
But they currently sit in third place in the table, level on points but one place ahead of the Gunners.
However Pochettino admitted his team aren't aiming to finish ahead of Arsenal.
"It’s not my principle motivation, I can feel now that this is very important for our supporters and all people that love Tottenham," he said.
"The reality is they are our sworn enemy and you can feel that.
"But for me its very important to complete our gaols and our objectives and don’t think to much about our opponent.
"It is not important what Arsenal, Manchester City or Leicester do."
